This year we will host our National Conference in the regional hub of Tamworth, the country music capital of Australia. This event is a chance to:

• Rediscover friendships and exchange knowledge with the scholar alumni!

• Meet the newly selected 2023 Scholars

• Discover innovation and technologies from returning scholars

• Explore solutions to challenges with industry leaders

We will continue highlighting extraordinary members of the alumni who will share stories since completing their scholarship and how the Nuffield experience contributed to their success.

PROGRAM

1. Monday 12 September: Annual Awards Gala Dinner

2. Tuesday 13 September: Conference Day, with breakfast and networking reception

3. Wednesday 14 and Thursday 15 September: Post Conference Tour

REGIONAL TOUR DETAILS Join us for the 1.5 day regional tour! Beef and sheep, grain, dairy and poultry all feature in the tour with visits to:

• 1998 Scholar David Brownhill's Merrilong Pastoral Company farm business with his brother and their families at Spring Ridge.

• 2013 Scholar Guy Hebblewhite's Countryside Farming intensive poultry operation with his family in Tamworth.

• Other business visits include:

  • Killara Feedlot

  • Goonnoo Goonoo Station 3R Angus Bull sale

  • Thomas Foods International - Lamb Abbatoir and Biogas

  • Peel Valley Milk Dungowan

​The tour commences at 8:00am on Wednesday 15 September and concludes at 12:30pm on Thursday 16 September at Tamworth Airport.
