Applications Open for Nuffield Australia’s 2025–26 Post-Scholarship Opportunities

Nuffield Australia is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2025–26 Post-Scholarship Opportunities, offering alumni scholars exclusive access to world-class professional development programs both in Australia and abroad.

Each year, Nuffield Australia provides a suite of opportunities for alumni to continue their learning journey beyond their original scholarship. Bursaries of up to $5,000, along with some support for travel expenses, are available thanks to the generosity of Nuffield benefactors and supporters including Lorna and Bert Kelly, Peter Rose, Ann and the late Robert Harrison, Hugh and Jenny Roberts, Keith McLean and family, and itravel Griffith.

Eligible courses span agricultural leadership, global food systems, executive education and corporate governance, with placements available in the United Kingdom, United States, Europe and Australia.

Courses available for 2025–26 include:

  • Worshipful Company of Farmers – Advanced Agricultural Business Management (UK)
  • Executive Program for Agricultural Producers – Texas A&M University (USA)
  • Challenge for Rural Leadership – Duchy College (UK)
  • 53rd Session of the Committee on World Food Security – Rome (UN FAO)
  • Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Course
  • ABARES Outlook Conference – Canberra
  • Rabobank Executive Development Program – Australia

“These post-scholarship opportunities reflect our commitment to supporting alumni as lifelong learners and leaders,” said Jodie Redcliffe, CEO of Nuffield Australia. “By enabling scholars to continue building their capabilities, we’re strengthening their individual contribution to Australian agriculture and the broader industry.”

“We heard from an impressive array of speakers who challenged us to think globally, strategically, market better, and manage our resources – be it time, people or assets.”

To be eligible, applicants must be Nuffield Australia alumni who have completed and submitted their scholarship report. Selection will be based on course suitability, the applicant’s continued engagement with Nuffield and its investors, and their plans to share the learnings with others.

Successful applicants will be announced at the 2025 Nuffield Australia National Conference in Adelaide on Wednesday 10 September.

Applications close Friday 29 August 2025.

Further information and the application form are available via the Nuffield Australia Alumni Portal

“The Rabobank EDP course has been an excellent opportunity to step away from the farm, take an umbrella view of our business and focus on direction and strategy. As with Nuffield, it is great to meet like-minded people who challenge you and help you to expand and grow.”
